Maybe to show how easy can someone start creating a website, or maybe just a simple website to show how each student crated their own website, or maybe just to show the website to the future students that are going to take the same class as the one we are right now. Or just to show progress.

Unit 1

In unit 1, I learned how crucial it is to evaluate websites using clear criteria. Creating rubrics helped me understand what makes a site effective, things like layout, usability, and visual appeal gave me tools to assess my own work more objectively. Color theory was especially eye opening. I realized how different color combinations can influence mood and readability. Now I see how color choices aren’t just aesthetic, they shape how users emotionally connect with a site. Web standards and accessible design taught me that good design isn't just about looks, it's about making content usable for everyone, including people with disabilities. I learned how features like alt text, keyboard navigation, and semantic HTML make a site more inclusive and professional. Finally, organizing and planning a website showed me that structure is everything. Mapping out pages and content before building helps avoid confusion and ensures the site meets it goals efficiently

Unit 2

In unit 2, i discovered how HTML works and how each part of a website is built step by step. I learned that every webpage begins with the main structure made from < html >, < head >, and < body >. After that, i practiced using < ol > and < ul> to make lists that organize information in different ways. I also learned to create links with the < a > tag, wich connects pages and helps people move easily through a site. Then, I worked on building data tables using < table >, < tr >, and < td >, a great way to show data in rows and columns. Finally I learned how to add videos with the < video > tag to make web pages more interesting. This unit really helped me see how HTML code builds the fundation for everything we see on a website, and it made me more confident in creating my own pages.

Unit 3

In Unit 3, I learned how powerful Cascading Style Sheets are for controlling the look and feel of a webpage. First, the introduction to CSS helped me understand how CSS connects to HTML and why separating style from structure makes websites easier to manage. Learning about color in CSS showed me how color codes, like hex and RGB, can completely change the mood of a webpage. The section on typography taught me how fonts, sizes, and spacing choices improve readability and give a site personality. When we studied the box model, I realized how important padding, margins, and borders are for spacing elements correctly. Understanding the role of IDs and classes helped me see how to style specific elements or groups of elements without messing up the whole page. Finally, page layout techniques showed me how to organize content using tools like flexbox and grid so the page looks clean and professional. Overall, this unit helped me see how CSS is essential for making webpages visually appealing and easy to use.
